Painting can be both a vocation and a hobby as far back as man can remember.  Painting has evolved to an immense level since its inception.  Due to its wide range of styles and techniques, paintings have become very enjoyable to large masses of people. Paintings rarely become famous during the lifetime of the artist.  However, their names will be remembered long after they are gone.  This should be an inspiration to all would-be artists.  Great painters continued to improve and perfect their skills until people and experts were impressed by their abilities.  With an attitude like that, any aspiring artist may become famous as well.  Continue to paint over and over, learn to master your craft and continue to do this for others to enjoy as well as yourself.
